❌ How to Cancel an Amazon Order
Updated over a week ago

⚠️ WARNING! We strongly recommend avoiding order cancellations as much as possible! It affects your account and worsens your metrics. We suggest considering other options, such as reaching an agreement with the customer.

In what cases can you cancel an order?

  • The customer's delivery address is in a location where you cannot deliver (e.g., an island).

  • You discovered that the last item in stock is damaged.

  • You found that the product is out of stock (this should not happen).

  • You realized that the product is incorrectly listed on Amazon.

How to Cancel an Order?

  • The safest way is to ask the customer to cancel the order; however, this often does not work out. If that is the case, you will need to cancel the order yourself.

  • First, confirm the shipment of the order (more details in the "How to Process an Order" section), and then refund the entire amount for the order (more details in the "How to Refund" section).

  • You must always inform the customer about the cancellation.

If you cancel an order directly using the "cancel order" button, it can harm your account. If you cancel a large number of orders this way, your account could even be suspended.
