What is different?

1. New item in the order - Payment facilities

Customers have the option to choose installment payments, for which a fee is charged. This fee appears in the order as an additional item (besides the product price and shipping). The total order price thus corresponds to: product price + shipping cost + fee for the chosen payment option. The fee for the chosen payment method is also deducted from the payout (in addition, a Payment facilities fee - approximately 1% - is also deducted, which is a fee charged to the seller for the customer's chosen payment method).

You can find it in the orders under <servicePrice></servicePrice>.

2. "Accept" in the order

On Cdiscount, the account can be set up in two ways:

Method: All orders are automatically "accepted." This means that Cdiscount and the customer assume the order will be processed and shipped. If this doesn't happen and you cancel it, you will lose the Cdiscount commission (about 15% of the order value). You manage the order just like on Amazon or Kaufland.

Method: An order that you do not cancel within 47 hours will be automatically canceled by Cdiscount. This gives you time to check for incorrect pairing or other order details and cancel it free of charge.

For this option, you have several implementation choices:

  • You can accept the order via API by sending a request to the update fulfillment endpoint and changing the order status to Registered. Then, you proceed with shipping as you would on Amazon.

  • You can accept the order through our APP or directly in the Sellerportal on Cdiscount. Then, you proceed with shipping as you would on Amazon.

🚫 An order that hasn't been "accepted" doesn't have a complete address. Cdiscount provides the full address only after the order is "accepted," and the address is then sent to the APP and also to you via API.

What is the same?

- The commission is on average 15% and is charged on VAT-inclusive prices, including shipping (note the fee for Payment facilities, see above).

- The monthly fee is 39.99 € (the first 3 months are free for EXPANDA clients).

- Handling time can also be used - the maximum period is 5 days.

- Integration with eDESK customer support is available.
