⚙️ Setting Up the EXPANDO APP for Amazon
Updated over a week ago

In the Settings section, navigate to General and then Amazon to configure the EXPANDO APP according to your needs.

⚠️ The settings will vary depending on whether you are using Shoptet or another feed source.

1. Custom Source Settings

a) Listing New Products

When this feature is enabled, new products from your source (either an XML feed or the Shoptet plugin) are sent to Amazon. These new products are submitted to Amazon for matching. If matched and available in stock, they will become available for sale. If this feature is disabled, newly added products after the initial feed load will not be added to Amazon.

b) Synchronize Prices

When this feature is enabled, the prices from your e-shop are updated on Amazon. If the feature is disabled, the prices on Amazon will not be updated.

c) Synchronize Stock

When this feature is enabled, the stock levels on Amazon are updated to reflect the stock levels on your e-shop. For example, if your e-shop shows 10 units in stock, this is also updated on Amazon as 10 units. Some clients prefer to have this feature disabled and manage stock levels manually through the app, often setting a fixed number of units, such as 10, for certain products.

d) Set Stock to Zero for Products Not in Source

When this feature is enabled, products that are not present in the source (such as an XML feed or Shoptet plugin) but are in the database will have their stock level set to 0 on Amazon. This effectively depublishes the product, meaning it will not be visible or available for purchase on Amazon until it reappears in the source feed.

e) Do Not list Products Without Stock

When this feature is enabled, products with zero stock will not be uploaded to the marketplace.

f) Automatically Cancel Orders with Cancellation Requests

When this feature is enabled, the system automatically sends a cancellation notice to Amazon for orders that have a cancellation request from the buyer. This action does not incur any penalties to the account.

2. Shoptet Source Settings

a) Import Orders, Prices, and Stock

This switch allows you to enable or disable the import of orders, prices, and stock levels into Shoptet. If this option is disabled, no orders will be imported into Shoptet.

b) Choose Order Status for Import into Shoptet

When this feature is enabled, orders will be imported into Shoptet with the chosen status. If disabled, orders are imported based on their current status, such as "unfulfilled" being imported as "unfulfilled."

c) Choose Order Status for Automatic Confirmation from Shoptet

When this feature is enabled, orders that reach the selected status in Shoptet will be marked as "shipped" on Amazon.

d) Import Orders Without Automatically Modifying Their Status

Orders imported with this setting will not have their status automatically adjusted. To enable the "import orders" feature, you must first select the shipping method under which the orders will be imported.

e) Do Not Import Orders, but Decrease Stock Levels

When this feature is enabled, orders will not be imported into Shoptet and will remain only in the application. However, the stock levels for these products will be decreased to reflect the actual inventory. This ensures that customers on Amazon cannot purchase a product that is out of stock in your e-shop.

f) Import FBA Orders

FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) orders will also be imported into Shoptet.

g) Amazon-Shoptet Shipping Mapping

To import orders into Shoptet, you need to select a default shipping type. This ensures that all imported orders are categorized under a specific shipping method in Shoptet.

Autopricer

The Autopricer feature automatically adjusts product prices on sales channels based on competitor pricing and shipping costs.
