Sometimes you will need to change certain product values in the APP, such as adjusting sales prices to purchase prices for Alza, adding EAN codes that are missing from the feed, etc. Here you will find ways to edit products within the EXPANDO APP.
🔒 Values that you manually edit in the APP or via a CSV file will be locked and will no longer update from your source (XML feed or Shoptet). If you wish to restore updates from the source for locked values, simply click on the padlock icon to unlock them. This does not apply to price adjustments made using a coefficient.
⚠️ After making manual edits for Alza, make sure to select the "Send products to marketplace" button in the Sales Channels section.
Bulk Editing Using a CSV File
1. Preparing the File in Excel:
Start by creating an Excel spreadsheet or a Google Sheet.
Create one column titled "SKU" and enter all the SKUs for which changes will be made.
Next, create additional columns based on the values you wish to modify. If you only need to change the price, simply create a second column titled "Price" and input the desired values for the corresponding SKUs. If you want to modify multiple values, such as changing prices and adding EAN codes simultaneously, create multiple columns with the appropriate titles.
Ensure that the text is saved as "Plain Text" through the "Format" option.
Download the file in CSV format.
If you are using Microsoft Excel, save the spreadsheet in the format: CSV UTF-8.
2. Uploading the File in EXPANDO APP
Click on the Products section:
In the top menu, select the Marketplace that this applies to, such as Alza.
Click on "Bulk Edit (CSV)":
Drag and drop or upload the prepared file.
Map each column, such as SKU, Price, Stock, EAN, etc., so that the EXPANDO APP can recognize which column contains each specific value.
Confirm the upload. The EXPANDO APP will notify you of how many products were successfully updated according to the CSV file.
Manual Editing of Individual Products
Click on Products.
Select the marketplace where you want to edit the product, such as Alza.
Search for the product you want to modify.
Click on the product name.
Edit the value and save the change.
Bulk Price Editing Using a Coefficient
If you need to decrease or increase prices by a certain percentage or coefficient, go to the Marketplaces section and select the marketplace where you want to change the price, such as Alza.
Then click on the "Set Selling Prices" icon.
In the adjustment options, you can modify prices either by multiplication (using a coefficient) or by adding a constant amount.
To increase the price by 20%, apply **multiplication by 1.2**.
To decrease the price by 20%, apply **multiplication by 0.8**.
⚠️ When using a coefficient for adjustments, the prices will be recalculated from the product source—either from the feed or Shoptet.
