Below you will find a step-by-step guide to connecting your e-shop to sell on Amazon

Updated over 4 months ago

Creating an Amazon Account

Registering for the EXPANDO APP

💡 If you use the Shoptet e-shop solution, we recommend installing the Amazon add-on. Then, simply log in through the "Log in via Shoptet" button into the EXPANDO APP.

In this step, you will connect the product data source.

ℹ️ For selling on Amazon, you need to provide the following product information in the EXPANDO APP:

  • SKU (your product identifier)

  • Product Name

  • EAN code (if you don't have one, contact us at help@expan.do)

  • Price (you can change the currency using the coefficient in the Marketplace Channels section)

  • Stock Availability (you need to have an actual number, just having "in stock" is not sufficient)

You can import data into the EXPANDO APP in three ways:

  1. If you use Shoptet, log in via Shoptet, and all products will be automatically imported into the EXPANDO APP.

  2. XML feed - A detailed guide on how to connect an XML feed can be found here.

  3. One-time import using a CSV file.

Connecting the EXPANDO APP to your Amazon Account

In the second step, select Amazon and the region you want to connect to, and proceed to the next steps by clicking the "Connect" button.

In Step 1, click on Sign In/Register, and you will be automatically redirected to Amazon Seller Central. Sign in to your Amazon account or create a new one if you don't have an account yet.

Amazon will inform you that the EXPANDO application is requesting access permissions. Please confirm this.

In Amazon, select the country you want to connect:

A form will then appear, where you need to check the box at the bottom and confirm by clicking the Confirm button.

After that, Amazon will redirect you back to the EXPANDO APP, where you will see a green "Completed" indicator, signifying that the connection was successful. ✅
