Some products require special preparation to ensure they reach Amazon's warehouses in an undamaged state. Instructions for preparing many products are available in the "Prepare products" step when creating a shipment. You can also have Amazon prepare the products for a per-item fee.
The "Prep required" tab on the "Prepare products" page contains instructions for items that have specific preparation requirements.
Preparation may be required.
Click on the "Prep may be required" tab to view products without preparation instructions. This may occur if the product hasn't been shipped before or classified with specific preparation requirements.
If you know the necessary preparation for these products, click "Choose category" in the "Prep guidance" column and select the appropriate preparation category from the dropdown menu.
If your product does not require additional preparation, you can select "No prep required."
Preparation requirements may include:
Polypropylene bags (Poly bagging)
Bubble wrap
Overboxing
Tape
