📋 Kaufland Account Registration
Updated over 3 months ago

Even though Kaufland.de is one of the largest marketplaces in Europe, opening an account is not that time-consuming. Account verification takes approximately 2-5 business days.

What is needed to open an account?

  1. Photograph or scan of the ID card of all company owners (both sides).

  2. Extract from the Commercial Register (OR.JUSTICE) - The extract must not be older than 4 weeks.

  3. IBAN and BIC

  4. Link to the online store or sales account, if available.

  5. German tax identification number or unified VAT registration - OSS.

  6. Proof of shareholder relationships (shareholder list or shareholder agreement). You can find a template here, or alternatively, you may use an extract from the Commercial Register (OR.JUSTICE).

Step-by-Step Registration

1. Open the registration form webpage

In the middle of the page, you now have the option to choose one of two account management plans:

  • Basic - €39.95

  • Basic + Linking - €49.90

ℹ️ Our clients enjoy the first 3 months of the plan (even the more expensive one) for free.

2. Login Information

Fill in your login details and check all the policy agreements located below the form.

3. Filling in Basic Information

Now, on the right side, you will see a checklist outlining the steps you need to complete:

Start with the basic information:

  • Store name (this will be visible to customers),

  • Number of products (an approximate number is sufficient),

  • Confirm that you do not sell any "hazardous" products..

❓ If you do sell products from the "hazardous" list, check the specific category and complete the registration as usual. Kaufland will then send you a special "agreement" via email, confirming the sale and conditions for selling these products.

Save the conditions at the bottom and proceed to the next page. If everything was correctly filled out in the previous step, a green ✅ will appear.
